“LIFE’S MOST PERSISTENT AND URGENT QUESTION IS: ‘WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR OTHERS?”

Helping Where it Counts

We support our peoples’ passions and efforts primary through matching gifts to the nonprofits they care about. They give back every day working with schools, scouting and other community service organizations to bring life to the communities where we live and work.

When it comes to giving back, Envela and its companies definitely walks the walk. An organization that our entire family of companies supports is Austin Street Center. Austin Street Center provides emergency shelter and related services to the homeless. Austin Street provides the basics of food, shelter, showers, clothing and, when necessary, medical attention, so that the person in need might be better able to make responsible choices, positive changes and have economic self-sufficiency.

Since 2017, the Envela family of companies has been dedicated to helping Austin Street Center change the lives of people of the community most in need. Austin Street Center is often the only place a homeless person can turn to for food, shelter, clothing, and more. Our companies are proud to have not only given money and volunteered but also hired people from the shelter and provide them with training and full-time employment with a “living wage.” It has been very exciting for our entire team when someone has been able to move out of the shelter and get their own place to live. Everyone can feel the pride and positive change from that person rejoining the community. It’s a hands-on approach to giving back that we get to live every day and makes a real difference in the community.
